One IP address serving six logins is the first pattern Instagram's security checks flag. We have been a proxy provider since 2016, and our Instagram proxies give every Instagram account its own exit IP: foreign IPv4 from $1.47 per IP per month, individual IPv6 from $0.13, with HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS on every plan. Proxies for any social networks run on the same pool. Instagram passed 2 billion monthly active users years ago, and its detection load is heavier than Reddit's, LinkedIn's or TikTok's, so IP overlap is noticed faster here.
The right proxy depends on the task: routing a daily posting schedule through our proxy network needs stable IPs, while the best proxies for Instagram research are the cheap IPv6 addresses.
Type | Price per IP, month | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Foreign IPv4 (private proxy, one user) | from $1.47 | 24 locations including USA proxies, UK and Germany; unlimited bandwidth |
Premium IPv4 | from $3.60 | 195+ countries for precise targeting |
Shared IPv4 | from $0.67 | shared by up to 3 proxy users, so some IP overlap |
Individual IPv6 and dynamic proxies | from $0.13 | US and Russia, cheap bandwidth for scraping |
pay per traffic | a residential IP has the highest trust, slower response time |
Datacenter IPv4 holds better uptime and response time; residential IPs keep better trust with Instagram's mobile endpoints. If you have compared ISP proxies elsewhere, Premium IPv4 is our nearest equivalent. HTTPS adds encryption between your client and our proxy server, which means better security on shared Wi-Fi. Final thoughts on cost: flexible pricing is per IP per month, so a single address is a valid order.
Using a proxy masks your IP address; it does not change Instagram's rules. We expect customers to use Instagram and the Instagram app within Instagram's terms.
Rarely. Open proxies and public proxy lists, including ones reposted on BHW through 2025 and 2026, are reused by thousands, so a ban usually follows.
We suggest one IP address per one to three profiles. Clients who run multiple Instagram accounts with heavy posting give each profile a separate IP.
Yes. Swap an IP in our ProxyControl extension or dashboard in seconds, and the API key returns the updated list. We publish no public REST API.
